Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Lowestoft Test & Development Centre, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, HR and HSE, the role will coordinate site administration, purchasing, contractor support and office operations, helping to maintain an organised, efficient and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Lowestoft site.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including raising purchase orders, managing suppliers and ordering site consumables and equipment.
• Coordinate visitors, contractors and site logistics, ensuring inductions, documentation and PPE requirements are completed.
• Manage and coordinate shift allocation.
• Support contractor administration, including timesheet verification and invoice processing.
• Maintain accurate site records, including training, compliance, Health & Safety documentation and employee certification records.
• Act as the first point of contact for general site enquiries, supporting the wider team to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Lowestoft facility.

Required skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a Site Administrator, Office Administrator or similar administrative role.
• Experience supporting a busy operational, engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Business Administration qualification (NVQ, BTEC or equivalent).
• Experience supporting purchasing, supplier administration or facilities coordination.
• Experience supporting Health & Safety administration and compliance records.
• Previous experience within an SME or fast-paced operational environment.

Additional information:

• Location: Lowestoft Test & Development Centre.
• Contract: Temporary – 6 months.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (on-site).
• Flexibility may be required on an ad-hoc basis to support business needs.
• Immediate start preferred.
• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
