As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role where you'll play a vital part in supporting our sales function and delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to order completion.

Responsibilities:
Professionally handle incoming calls, visitors, post and general office administration duties.
Engage with clients to understand requirements and then progress the sales order process, requesting internal costings and preparing accurate quotations, proposals and supporting sales documentation.
Work closely with Sales, Design, Production and Finance to ensure projects progress smoothly.
Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring all information is complete and accurate before passing to the order management team.
Accurately maintain customer records, quotations and opportunities within the CRM system.
Monitor customer orders and proactively communicate updates where required.
Produce sales reports and assist with pipeline administration and forecasting.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the team with tender submissions, presentations and customer documentation where required.
Issue Proforma invoices in accordance with established procedures.
Provide administrative support to team and management across a range of business activities.
Communicate with third parties and suppliers such as couriers regarding delivery issues.
Monitor shared inboxes and handle or distribute communications appropriately.
General end of day housekeeping, including building security.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or commercial administration
This role requires strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
Experience in sales order processing or order administration (end-to-end)
Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and solve problems effectively
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g. invoicing, VAT)
Experience working with CRM systems
