Resi is currently hiring for a freelance Content Writer to join our team on a monthly rolling contract basis. This role is based at our office in Oval, London for three days a week, with the potential to extend to five days a week — including two days remote.

We are Resi, the UK’s largest residential architecture platform, using tech to transform the design and construction industry for homeowners. Our ambitions are huge, our mission is to bring peace of mind to millions of stressed renovators. Marketing is essential to making that happen, and this role will help shape and implement both the strategies and the hacks that get us there.

We are looking for a confident and capable writer to support the delivery of our SEO and content strategy. You will write blog articles from scratch, optimise website copy based on clear briefs and keyword guidance, and create email content designed to engage homeowners and drive action.

You won’t be expected to create our SEO strategy, but you will play a key role in executing it. You will use AI-assisted workflows to help scale production and apply your editorial judgement to ensure all content is accurate, engaging and effective.

This role suits someone with strong research skills, a clear and accessible writing style, and the ability to simplify complex topics. You will collaborate with internal teams, interpret data to shape your work, and create content that is not only optimised for search, but genuinely useful to homeowners.

Key responsibilities:

• Write website and blog content in line with our SEO guidelines and pre-defined strategy.
• Conduct thorough research using internal input, data and independent sources.
• Create clear, engaging email copy for a range of formats, including automated flows (e.g. onboarding, nurture sequences) and one-off campaigns or newsletters.
• Use AI tools to support content drafting and repurposing, then refine and quality check for accuracy, clarity and SEO compliance.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style and structure across all content.
• Collaborate with the content and social team to support campaigns and calendar planning.

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have experience in content writing, copywriting, journalism or a similar role.
• You are a strong researcher who can turn complex topics into clear, accessible content.
• You understand SEO and know how to apply it across different content formats. Experience with keyword research, SEO tools such as Google Search Console or Semrush, and broader optimisation techniques is a bonus. 
• You are experienced with generative AI tools and prompts to help create content, but rely on your own judgement to refine, optimise and finish it.
• Experience writing automated email sequences that guide users, nurture leads or drive action is a bonus.
• You care about clarity, accuracy and polish, and you always submit copy that is ready to go.
• You work well with others, ask smart questions and take ownership of your deadlines and deliverables.
