You can handle sensitive employee relations cases one moment, roll out a new HR system feature the next, and then coach a manager through a performance conversation, all while keeping compliance watertight.

You thrive in a fast-moving creative environment and understand how to balance people's priorities with business needs.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Execution

• Represent the People function and advise leaders on all people related matters
• Partner with the leads to drive wider business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and develop the People team, setting clear priorities and ensuring high performance

People strategy, performance and data 

• Own People strategy roadmap, translate business goals into a long term People strategy
• Define, track and deliver People reports and dashboards covering key KPIs
• Use People data insights to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement

Employee lifecycle

Talent strategy

• Oversee all hiring activity, ensuring efficient, scalable recruitment processes
• Support UAE National hiring initiatives in alignment with business and government objectives

Employee Lifecycle

• Own Employee lifecycle framework
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring each process is consistent, compliant, and experience-focused
• Lead onboarding and offboarding meetings with new joiners
• Maintain strong internal communications that keep employees informed and aligned
• Ensure all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle are tracked and experience is aligned with Tactical’s values and ways of working

Performance and talent

• Own the design and execution of the performance management framework 
• Run performance review cycles, calibration, 1:1 templates, and reminders, ensuring high completion and quality feedback
• Partner with leads to run annual talent reviews
• Partner with managers to set SMART goals and run Performance Improvement Plans

Employee Relations and Culture 

• Act as a senior point of escalation for complex employee relations matters
• Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring Tactical fosters a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture with clear accountability

HRIS

• Oversee the People technology ecosystem, ensuring data accuracy, security, and efficiency
• Oversee automation and system improvements to create seamless HR processes

Policies, Benefits, Compliance

• Own the Tactical policies and benefits strategy
• Create, review, update and obtain sign off on policies and benefits
• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure people policies and benefit implementation processes run efficiently
• Ensure 100% compliance with UAE labour law and relevant global policies
• Oversee immigration, visas, and contracts for a global workforce and our freelancer networks

What you’ll bring

• 7 years’ generalist expertise across HR management and the employee lifecycle
• Experience with policies, processes, employee relations matters, escalations and associated documentation
• Experience developing and managing a team
• Experience managing review cycles
• Experience working directly with leads to drive wider business objectives
• Manages up effectively, arriving at decisions with a recommended course of action
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law 
• Nice to have:
  • Hiring and talent pipelining experience
  • Understands global mobility
