Job Brief
Workshop17 is looking for a motivated and technically capable Interior Designer to bridge the gap between our Design and Facilities Management teams.
The role focuses on maintaining and evolving our workspaces through office customisations, small-scale interior projects, workspace upgrades and tenant requirements. The successful candidate will ensure projects are practical, efficiently delivered and aligned with Workshop17’s design standards, operational needs and compliance requirements.
Working across multiple locations, you’ll collaborate with Facilities, Sales and Operations teams, contractors and external consultants to develop, document and implement interior solutions.
This role is ideal for an emerging designer with strong technical skills and project coordination abilities who enjoys turning design concepts into practical, buildable solutions and gaining hands-on experience in project delivery and workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design solutions for workspace customisations and small-scale projects, ensuring alignment with Workshop17’s design standards and operational needs.
Create and maintain accurate Revit models, drawings and technical documentation, ensuring designs are practical, buildable and compliant.
Coordinate with Design, Facilities, Operations, contractors and suppliers to manage project timelines, installations, risks and handovers.
Ensure all modifications meet building, accessibility, health and safety requirements. Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate floor plans and fire plans.
Support budgeting, quotations, procurement and project expenditure while identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising design quality.
Work with Location Managers, Business Development, Operations, Facilities and external partners to understand requirements, provide design guidance and communicate project progress.
